About San Diego Outpatient Surgical Center
San Diego Outpatient Surgical Center was originally developed in 1974 by members of the medical community interested in containing healthcare costs. After 45 years at its location in Hillcrest, the Center moved to a larger, more contemporary outpatient surgery facility on Ruffin Road in Kearny Mesa in 2019. San Diego Outpatient is owned and operated by a group of local surgeons, SDOSC, L.P., a California Limited Partnership, and the Center remains dedicated to the mission of its physician founders:
Provide compassionate and uncompromising, quality elective outpatient surgical services in a safe and cost-effective setting.
The Center is certified by Medicare and regularly inspected by the California Department of Public Health.
Your physician may have an ownership interest in San Diego Outpatient Surgical Center, and if such an interest is of concern to you, please discuss it with your surgeon, and he/she will address your questions.
This small group of local physicians was formed to provide a quality service for their patients and the patients of their colleagues.
